Grown on the volcanic slopes above Lake Kivu and processed at the Kabirizi Washing Station, this microlot is from Fair Trade cooperative COOPAC. It brings jammy nectarine and mellow cooked apricot, all wrapped up in a caramelised sweetness with mild, balanced acidity.
COOPAC has 8,000 farmer members across the Kivu region, and puts profits back into the community through funding schools, clinics, and roads.
