Worka Sakaro is a small locality just a few kilometres east of the Gedeb area near Yirgacheffe in southern Ethiopia.
It is high altitude, with much of the surrounding area about 2000 to 2200 meters above sea level.
The region has become a productive growing area over the last fifty years, making a name for itself around the world for its deliciously fruity and floral coffees. These heirloom varietals grow at high altitude on lush green hills, hiding under large shade trees.
